Tees Valley Light Rail Metro is a non runner the consultation money could have been better spent as central Government announced £b's for rail improvements connected to the London Olympics and mainline track anyway working on the local railways I do not comprehend how or what can be done to get passengers on the Darlington - Saltburn line and the thought of more traffic on the Middlesbrough - Whitby line is laughable to all in the know -

figures from a local poll so it seems there's little support for the Light Rail Plan which doesn't shock those in the know about the Teesside existing rail wagon ways they are all located in the wrong place to be used as a Metro System will the location of the tracks be investigated before £140,000,000 of Tax Payers money is handed over because if not this would constitute a massive waste of public funds and should be looked into -

maybe Able UK will be allowed by Middlesbrough Executive to bury all the expected toxins from dismantling the ghost ships at Middlesbrough Middlehaven, would a few thousand tonnes more toxins buried there make much difference?

residents in Middlesbrough noted the
Cap Cook Square CCTV mentioned in the media
Street Wardens stood back whilst shoppers dropped litter
during media interviews given about the CCTV that "shouts at you"

I had warned some people that the Ombudsman would not work, regardless of what Cllr's have said read below:

In the article [Decision 'was fair' Nov 3 2006] the Ombudsman rightly made her case, in that there was "no evidence the decision-making process was infected by any fault or failure, and found that the council followed the proper process in reaching its decision. However what was naturally omitted was the fact that this was the proper corporate process, not a democratic one. However we can hardly appeal to the ombudsman for the democratic deficit , lack of informed choice, for their remit never covers these areas, because their actual remit is only very narrowly defined to begin with. Another example is the Standards board for England who although found that 3 councillors, who were board members of Erimus Housing, had failed to declare an interest and although this was seen by them as maladministration, they clearly stated that no injustice would flowed from it? Well this is hardly surprising, in that what this shows are 2 departments set up by ‘the same system’ in order to use what magicians refer to as misdirection, away from any more legitimate legal process. It’s kind of like asking the mafia to police themselves?

are the waters of the river Tees really that dirty and if so why are MBC siting the new college on the site of contamined soil ?
